White label are currently working with top client of ours, a UK-based distributor specialising in a wide range of building materials and hardware products. The company supplies items for construction, renovation, and DIY projects, including timber, insulation materials, plumbing and heating supplies, ironmongery, roofing and guttering materials, flooring solutions, and paints and decorating supplies. They are also well-known for their extensive selection of fireplaces and stoves, offering a variety of styles and models. Additionally, the company provides builders' tools and equipment to support trade professionals and DIY enthusiasts, with a focus on excellent customer service, expert advice, reliable delivery, and high-quality products.

Reason for Role: New role to support the strong growth plans of the business

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background with the ability to manage inbound calls and orders, handle a variety of products, and provide helpful, efficient, and friendly support. A technical mindset, particularly knowledge of products like fireplaces and stoves, would be an advantage. Proactivity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell products will be key to succeeding in this role. The candidate should also be comfortable using databases and updating customer information regularly, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

Key Skills:

* Strong Communication: Clear and friendly phone manner

* Product Knowledge: Understanding of the company’s product range, especially technical items like fireplaces and stoves

* Order Management: Efficiently processing orders and ensuring accuracy

* Sales Ability: Upselling and cross-selling relevant products

* Customer Relationship: Proactively managing customer relationships and following up

* Database Updates: Keeping customer details and order information up to date

Salary: £25,000+
