Are you an experienced Quality Engineer or Site Engineer with a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) looking for your next freelance role? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About the Client:
Our client is a leading provider of civil engineering, infrastructure, and building services across the UK. They specialize in constructing and maintaining highways, marine projects, airports, railway infrastructure, as well as commercial, industrial, and educational buildings.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer for a pivotal role on a £30M+ section of a large nuclear project on the South Coast. This is an excellent chance to be part of a friendly and professional site team, where you will contribute to the project's success by ensuring the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely quality assurance guidance to the project team.
Review and check Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Manage Quality Assurance functions for allocated projects, supporting the production of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs).
Conduct audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 and any specific client or regulator requirements.
Strive for excellence by understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs. The Ideal Candidate:

Extensive experience as a Quality Engineer on civil engineering projects or as a Site Engineer with significant QA responsibilities.
Based locally in Plymouth.
Ability to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. Benefits:

Competitive daily rate: £300 - £400 DOE + Holiday Pay.
Ongoing, long-term contract.
