About the Role:
This is a varied and dynamic position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced school environment. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students within the Behaviour Unit, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop positive behaviours.
Responding to on-call requests across the school, providing immediate support to students in need.
Working one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring additional help, often those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs stemming from challenging personal circumstances.
Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents to create a nurturing and supportive environment for every student.
Every day will present new challenges and opportunities to make a real impact.
What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should be:
Experienced in schools or bring transferable skills from roles such as youth work, support work, or mentoring.
Resilient and adaptable, capable of staying calm in high-pressure situations.
Passionate about education and committed to supporting students’ personal and academic growth.
A strong communicator and team player.
