Location: Ruislip (near Reading) – Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to support high-voltage infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for estimating costs for 132kV GIS substations, ensuring accurate pricing and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for 132kV GIS substations

* Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications

* Work with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing

* Identify cost risks and opportunities

* Present estimates to senior management and project teams

Requirements

* Experience as an Electrical Estimator (senior level preferred)

* Strong knowledge of 132kV GIS substations

* Ability to review technical drawings and tenders

* Good understanding of costing and estimating software

* Strong negotiation and communication skills
