Lead Estimator – Passive Fire Protection

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid working available based on performance)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Package

My client is a leading company specialising in passive fire protection solutions and are looking for a talented and experienced Lead Estimator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a strong background in the passive fire industry to take on a leadership role within a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 7-8 estimators across various specialisms, including fire doors, AOV smoke systems, MEP, and facades.

* Oversee and guide the estimation process for complex passive fire projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

* Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient process from estimating through to project completion.

* Provide training, development, and ongoing support to estimators, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused team culture.

* Take ownership of the estimation process, including reviewing bids, costings, and ensuring all relevant standards and regulations are met.

* Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership, positive communication, and a keen focus on high-quality delivery.

* Proven experience in managing and growing a team of estimators.

* Previous experience in the passive fire industry is highly advantageous, especially across fire doors, smoke systems, MEP, and facades.
