Job Title: Lead Mobile Developer
Location: London
Salary: £85,000

Allegiance Group are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mobile Developer to spearhead the development of a brand-new iOS application, with plans to expand to Android shortly. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a project from the ground up, shaping both the technical architecture and the future of the product.

As the Lead Mobile Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing and delivering a high-quality mobile experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of a new iOS application from concept to release.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure a seamless user experience.
Write high-quality, maintainable code in Swift and Objective-C.
Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code quality.
Stay up to date with the latest mobile development trends and best practices.
Ensure smooth integration with backend services and APIs.
Play a key role in the Android rollout, collaborating with the Android development team.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Lead iOS Developer or Senior Developer, with strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
Solid understanding of iOS frameworks and design principles (UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, etc.).
Experience with mobile app architecture and best practices for performance and optimisation.
Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Desirable Skills:

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase) for mobile app backend integration.
Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile applications.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
