About The Role
We’ve got an opportunity for a Labour Planner to join our Logistics team at our site in Swan Valley

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will be responsible for delivering site specific labour plans for each Warehouse which are driven from the central volume plan. Ensuring labour costs are kept to a minimum, planning agency hours by maximising efficiency and productivity. You will react to volumes, making changes to labour plans and challenge Warehouse management to prioritise service to stores in the most cost effective way.

The role will also be responsible for the following:

You will challenge stakeholders at site to ensure changes to store requirements are met where possible and a strong customer focus is maintained.
Delivering site specific labour plans for each Warehouse driven from the central volume plan.
Responsible for developing strong working relationships between the central planning team and Warehouse management teams.
You will influence key stakeholders to verify and process information ensuring volume plans are accurate and changes to labour hours are made.
Ensures labour cost targets and associated pick rates are challenged and focussed by Warehouse management teams on a daily/weekly basis.
Owns labour planning processes across all the Warehouses ensuring problems are fixed quickly.
Understands logistics operations at site and champions smart ways of working.
Utilises data using a variety of technology and software tools.
Commercial understanding of how certain decisions impact the business and our stakeholders.
You will make strong data driven decisions, articulate them effectively and ensure Warehouse teams on site are engaged in planning decisions.

About You
You will have experience of working in a fast paced operational environment, managing a number of different stakeholders with an ability to deliver results in line with a budget.
Maintain and build strong working relationships with central stakeholders.
Understand and communicate accurate information from the plan and have the ability to challenge when required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in using data, spreadsheets and Google suite, attention to detail to verify accuracy of information, ensuring it is factual and fit for purpose.
You will have a track-record of delivering a cost efficient labour plan and hitting budget performance indicators.
You can confidently work alone and adapt to changing requirements whilst focusing on delivering improvements with remote/central.In return you'll get
