Service Technician

Pertemps Reading are looking for a Service Technician to work with a Hydraulic Repair company based in Reading.

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 12:00 Saturday on a rota basis

As a Service Technician,  you will be responsible for:

Providing on-site hose replacement to customers (including being part of a 24-hour on call rota for a week at a time 1 in 3 weeks)
Promote company products and services to existing and prospective customers 
Maintain the highest levels of health and safety practice 
Day to day management of a Mobile Sales and Service Unit including:
Maintaining sufficient stock levels
Performing routine maintenance checks and defect checks
Managing all documentation including technical and procedure updatesTo be considered for this Service Technician role, you should possess the following:

Basic mechanical knowledge
Good manual dexterity and physical ability
Full UK Driving Licence 
Work experience in a technical/engineering environment is advantageous but not essential
Ability to present yourself in a professional manner to customers, staff and colleagues
