A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of English to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Grays, Essex. This is an exciting role for a passionate educator who is committed to delivering high-quality English lessons and fostering a love for literature and language in students.

The Role:

* Teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities at Key Stage 5.

* Deliver engaging, creative, and high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students.

* Support students in developing strong literary analysis, writing, and communication skills.

* Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the English department.

* Take an active role in extracurricular activities, such as creative writing clubs, theatre trips, or debate teams.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

* A strong academic background in English or a related subject.

* Experience teaching English up to GCSE level, with A-Level teaching desirable.

* A passion for literature and a creative approach to teaching.

* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
