Are you a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity?

Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a renowned multidisciplinary consultancy who are on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Located in Essex, this is a fantastic opportunity for the selected candidate to work on a variety of exciting Education and Leisure projects.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting to the Design Lead, you will be responsible for the various mechanical / HVAC design processes from concept through to completion
Development of detailed designs suitable for procurement and installation. This will include sizing, selection, and space planning
You will be an integral part of a multi-service design and installation team
Proactive in ensuring effective communication and production of good quality information
Aid with the development of junior project and design engineersKey requirements:

Strong Building Services experience
Competence of all major building service systems
Good working knowledge of Revit and HEVACOMP design software
Sufficient working knowledge to enable you to establish client's requirements, and an ability to communicate effectively with specialist providers.
Able to work and lead as part of a team, delivering a fully co-ordinated and integrated solution
