Trainee Buyer

My client is a well established company based in Watford who purchase goods on behalf of large businesses worldwide. As part of their expansion they are seeking to recruit another Buyer to join their growing team.

We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years experience of working in an office based role and have proven ability to:-

* Communicate well over the phone and via email

* Exceptional English Language skills both written and verbal

* Attention to detail

* Building relationships with clients and suppliers

* Exceptional organisational skills

* Thinking on your feet

* Problem solving skills

* Ability to prioritise work and work load

* Ability to achieve sales targets

* Negotiating prices with suppliers

The role of Buyer will play a vital role in assisting clients by understanding their requirements, providing guidance and find the products that meets their needs across a variety of industries including Mining, Oil & Gas, Marine and renewables sectors.

This role would suit a person who wants to join a company who offer career progression and path with exceptional earning potential.
