Position Available: CNC Turner Programmer/Setter
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6 PM – 6 AM
Pay: £19.50 - £22 per hour
Role Summary:
We are looking for experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setters to join our client’s team for a permanent night shift position. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating HAAS lathes to produce high-precision components. This role offers a variety of tasks and opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate HAAS lathes.
* Manufacture components to exact tolerances based on technical drawings.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
* Proficient in setting up and operating CNC lathes, with programming experience highly preferred.
* Familiarity with HAAS control systems is preferred; experience with Fanuc is also acceptable.
* Skilled in the use of inspection and measuring tools.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
* Dedicated to producing components with tight tolerances.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience with 4th and 5th axis machining is an advantage.
