TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on a range of exciting new commercial projects. areas. Based in Sutton Coldfield, we are looking for a Commercial Plumbing & Heating Engineer on a permanent basis.

This position is based primarily in the West Midlands. Working away will be required at times.

Main duties

* Troubleshoot issues with heating systems

* Work with power tools to complete tasks

* Utilize hand tools for intricate work

* Assemble heating system components

* Apply basic maths skills for measurements and calculations

* Working within a team or alone.

* Plant Room Installations

* Pipework Installations

* Above ground drainage installations

* Working with various types of materials

* Working with domestic water services within commercial premises

* Install heating systems in buildings

* Conduct routine maintenance on heating systems

* Repair faulty heating systems

Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours Per week.
Salary: £38’000 - £42’000 Per annum.
Company vehicle, fuel card, PPE, Pension, and medical insurance provided.

Required Qualifications and skills

* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plumbing & heating or equivalent.

* Gas Qualifications (desirable)

* G3 Unvented Course (desirable)

* Ability to read and understand drawings

* CSCS

* IPAF (desirable)

* Mechanical knowledge for understanding heating systems

* Driving licence- Van provided
