Senior Quantity Surveyor - MRICS

Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading consultancy based near Romsey, Hampshire who is searching for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
The consultancy works closely with their clients to understand and manage cladding and internal combustibility risk, defects and remedial issues. They are presently overseeing the refurbishment of multiple facades on residential buildings and they work with a wide range of clients from social housing providers, landlords, private consortiums and management companies.
They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cladding upgrades and remedial works to existing buildings. You will be responsible for inviting contractors to tender, placing orders, making payments, monitoring costs and preparing final accounts.
This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor from a Consultancy or Main Contracting background who is MRICS.
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
* Over 5 years Quantity Surveying experience.
* Consultancy or Main Contracting background.
* Strong knowledge of building appropriate Scope of Works documents and Bills of Quantities.
* Experienced in tender and subcontract account processes.
* Organised with sharp financial and cost management skills.
* Astute in invoice and payment collation / management.
* Good understanding of JCT forms of contract.
* MRICS.
