Marine Industry Parts Assistant
Position: Yachts Parts Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 per week
Salary: £23,795 plus over time for a Saturday on rota
This is a unique role, not quite like working in car parts or a builders merchant. Boat parts aren't catalogued in the same manner and therefore this role requires someone switched on with an understanding of boats, preferably some technical knowledge and a good eye for detail.

As a Yachts Parts Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring that boats have the components they need to navigate the open waters!
The Requirements:
Collaborate with managers, engineers and maintenance teams to identify required parts
Source and order parts from reputable suppliers to ensure timely availability
Maintain a well organised inventory of yacht components and spare parts
Verify the accuracy and quality of incoming parts shipments
Keep detailed records of parts inventory, orders and transactions
Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external suppliers
Carrying out parts deliveries and collections to customers
Stay updated with the latest advancements in yacht technology and parts
Strong knowledge of Kerridge database
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities
