About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to join our small, friendly finance team. This role is key in supporting management accounts, financial reporting, and day-to-day processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in monthly management accounts and financial reporting.

* Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and support job-costing accounting.

* Process purchase invoices, payroll (for 60 staff), and credit card transactions.

* Support customer invoicing, profitability analysis, and financial controls.

* Assist with month-end, year-end, and intercompany reconciliations.

Skills & Experience

* Experience in account reconciliations, payroll, and invoice processing.

* Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Sage 50 / Sage Payroll.

* Excellent organisation and communication skills.

* Construction industry experience & AAT qualification (desirable).

On offer:

* £30,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience and qualifications.
