Location: Cambridge & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £55,000 basic (DOE) + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week
Vehicle & Fuel Card Provided
Holiday: 28 days (including bank holidays)

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join our Clients team, working for a leading European Transport & Quarry Company. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of heavy plant machinery, including iggers, dumpers, excavators, and quarry equipment.

As a key part of our clients maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a fleet of plant machinery at various sites in the Cambridge and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy plant equipment (excavators, dumpers, diggers, quarry plant)
Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections
Work independently across multiple sites in Cambridge & surrounding areas
Ensure all work is completed to health & safety standards

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Engineer
Strong mechanical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
Experience with quarry plant equipment is highly desirable
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
