Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in buying? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and support the Lead Homewares Buyer in all day-to-day buying activities. This role offers a chance to work closely with suppliers, marketing and help launch a wonderful and diverse range of homewares products to a loyal customer base.
In the role of Buying Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:
Supporting the Buyer in the ordering, logging, and returning of samples from suppliers.
Managing the organization of samples for selection, range reviews, and shoots.
Accurately logging all samples on selection spreadsheets.
Managing the sample invoices, processing these, and raising debit notes as required.
To be considered for the role as a Buying Assistant, you must have the following skills and experience:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
Office-based administrative experience
A confident and articulate phone manner
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail
A full driving licence and own car
