An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full-time Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join a well-established and busy team in High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and enjoys variety in their daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Serving customers at the trade counter and handling inbound telephone enquiries.
* Accurately processing customer orders using an in-house system.
* Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, including regular stock counts.
* Ensuring the branch is kept clean, tidy, and organised.
* Assisting with lifting and loading of heavy goods onto vehicles as required.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* A reliable, enthusiastic, and trustworthy attitude.
* Strong customer service and sales skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
* A self-motivated approach and good organisational skills.
* Competence in basic numeracy, literacy, and computer use.
Previous experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
