Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer with experience in FMCG or the food industry?  You will play a pivotal role in the engineering team to ensure that breakdowns are swiftly rectified and PPM work is done to schedule.

As part of the maintenance team, your day-to-day will involve utilising electrical skills and knowledge to minimise downtime supporting the production team.

The role as a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias:

Day to Day maintenance of the production machinery.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and all associated system activity.
Provide maintenance support to production to ensure efficient performance of all equipment.
Ensure accurate and timely records are entered into the maintenance system relating to all work carried out, root causes and spare parts used.
Make food safety a priority while maintaining the machinery.
Continuous Improvement activities as directed. To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer's role you will need:

An electrical Engineering qualification, and a time served Apprenticeship with an electrical bias.
Experience of working with manufacturing machinery
Background preferably in Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
Be able to work as part of a larger engineering team.
Have a collaborative approach.    The package on offer in this Maintenance Engineers role:

4 on 4 off days and nights pattern
7am – 7pm
Basic salary of £47,000 over time available
