The Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and committed individual to join the team at our Diss site as a Finance Assistant – Part Time.  This role is a critical one and will be responsible for providing assistance in the Finance team.

Main Purpose of Job

Credit control for the Diss site, ensuring payments are made within agreed terms.

Chasing overdue payments.

Other finance tasks, as directed.

Key qualifications, skills and attributes

High level of numeracy skills.

Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.

Able to work accurately and pay close attention to detail.

Ability to influence others and improve processes and controls.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Effective team member with good interpersonal skills.

Honest and acts with integrity and takes responsibility.

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet targets.

The hours for this role will be 09:00-15:00 Monday to Friday.  However, hours can be flexible.

Position to start on 2nd January 2025.
