The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will have the confidence to manage classrooms, ensuring that students remain focused and productive, while providing support for their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise classes across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain on task with pre-set work.
Maintain a positive and respectful learning environment, addressing any behavioural concerns in line with school policies.
Support students in understanding and completing assigned tasks, offering guidance where needed.
Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson transitions and a cohesive learning experience.
Contribute to the wider school community by supporting extracurricular activities or providing additional assistance as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with secondary school students, in either a classroom or supervisory capacity.
Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
Confidence to cover lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity in education.
A positive and proactive approach to supporting student learning and development.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
