Location: Newcastle City Centre

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with a paid lunch break)

We are working exclusively with our client based in the heart of Newcastle City Centre, looking for an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is suited to an Accountant with experience of working independently or in a smaller organisation, accountancy qualification is not essential as experience in a similar role will be the key factor.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of yearly accounts for various limited companies
Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
In-house and client VAT returns
Monitor and analyse accounting data
Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar accountancy role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer:
