Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced Team Leader to join our well established client.
Job Duties:
* Manage a small team of production operatives, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
* Manage the workload and distribution from manufacturing sheets/works orders to planned targets.
* Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Welfare issues are communicated, implemented, and reviewed.
* Promote the effective working of output, monitoring times to ensure efficiency, ensure lean practices are carried out.
* Lead and contribute to working method improvements & create SOP's.
* Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Ensure that the company’s quality requirements are met in full.
* Assist and have input to R&D projects.
* Ensure that quality standards (ISO) are achieved and maintained throughout.
* Accurately record components and tests as required.
Requirements:
* Ability to lead a team whether in, or out of a work environment.
* Proven skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Ability to delegate, regulate and promote improvements.
* Can manage workloads under conflicting time restraints.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Able to handle conflict and people issues.
Salary: £12.61 per hour + overtime.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30am - 4:30pm and Fridays 07:30am - 13:00pm.
This is a Full time, Permanent position
