Nursery Chef - Hackney, London

£32,000 - £35,000 per annum

36 - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday - no late nights and all weekends off!

We are working with an independent children’s day nursery who are currently looking for a Nursery Chef for their nursery setting in Hackney

The successful candidate will ideally have had previous experience working within a busy kitchen environment and catering for large numbers, special diets, and allergies. Experience cooking within an Early Years setting would also be desirable, however, this is not essential.

As our ideal Nursery Chef you will:-

* Have excellent craft skills and some bakery skills/experience

* Have a proven track record of continually improving standards

* Be passionate about food with a great eye for detail

* Have comprehensive understanding of managing allergens

* Have the ability to manage the kitchen and train the team to standards required

* Have financial and budget awareness

* Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
