On-site parking.We are currently seeking a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter on behalf of our Client, a reputable commercial vehicle service provider based in the Bedford area.

The successful Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £45,000 with OTE of circa £55,000 with 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, AM and PM shifts available and Weekend availability as required

Our Client is looking for a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller/ HGV Fitter to join their busy team, this is a full-time position and our Client is looking for individuals with previous working experience within the role.

Typical Duties of a Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller for our client include, but are not limited to:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles and trailers to DVSA standards.
Diagnose and rectify all types of vehicle and trailer faults.
Attend breakdowns to support vehicles at the roadside or customer premises.
Ensure health and safety regulations and safe working practices are strictly adhered to.
Coordinate the workshop’s daily operations, ensuring tasks are efficiently managed and completed to high standards.Requirements of this Senior HGV Technician / Workshop Controller vacancy:

Level 3 HGV Technician qualification.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in HGV maintenance (preferred).
HGV Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Leadership capabilities and the ability to manage workflow effectively.
