Due to a recent promotion, they are looking for a dedicated Telecare Technician to join their Integrated Telecare Monitoring Team. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality assistive technology services that empower elderly and vulnerable individuals to live independently in their homes.
The Telecare Technician will work 17 hours a week over a minimum of 3 days, Monday- Friday. These hours can be flexible to fit around your own circumstances and you can discuss these during the interview process.

What you'll do as a Telecare Technician
* Assess Customer Needs: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the most suitable telecare equipment for each customer’s unique environment.
* Installation & Maintenance: Install, program, and maintain assistive technology equipment, ensuring everything is in top working order.
* Demonstrate Equipment: Provide clear demonstrations on how to use the equipment, ensuring customers feel confident and supported.
* Customer Support: Offer ongoing advice and support to customers and their families about their range of assistive technology services.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer records and update their reporting systems with appointment outcomes.
What skills, attributes and experience will I need as a Telecare Technician:
* Experience: At least 1 year of experience in providing care or support for older or vulnerable individuals.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with assistive technology equipment and the ability to program and install it effectively.
* Hand Tools: Able to use and operate tools to install equipment (including power tools)
* Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
* Flexibility: A willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support as needed.
* Time Management: Able to prioritise and manage workloads, and work without direct supervision
* Driving License: A valid driving license and access to transportation are essential for this role.
