Maintenance Engineer, Eggborough area, excellent salary and shift allowance, panama shifts

Our client is a well-established, successful manufacturing company, commutable from Doncaster, York, Wakefield, Leeds, Scunthorpe, West Hull, Goole and Selby to name a few.

The role of Maintenance Engineer will be to oversee production shifts, ensuring operational efficiency and providing immediate assistance for breakdowns.

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer include conducting both reactive and preventive maintenance on equipment, monitoring plant performance to pre-empt failures, collaboration with supervisors, contributing to improvement initiatives, and participating in project discussions. Additionally, the position requires engineering support during shutdowns.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience of the Maintenance Engineer:

* Time-served or suitably recognised qualifications in engineering (We would welcome applications from Electrical Engineers and Maintenance Engineers or Multi-Skilled)

* Demonstrable practical experience in both reactive and preventative engineering maintenance

* Computer literacy

* Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks to safe levels
