We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lichfield. In this role, you will support students with special educational needs, providing individualized assistance to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role is to start immediately on a full time basis until July 2025 and can become a permanent role.

What You'll Do:

* Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

* Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.

* Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted academic support.

* Help prepare classroom materials and resources.

* Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall well-being of our school community.

Requirements

To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position you will need:

* Experience working with primary age children

* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK

* Have a DBS Certificate on the Update Service / Willing to obtain one
