Indirect Contracts Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities:

Minimize spend and inventory while ensuring timely delivery.
Secure the best total price and service levels.
Provide cover for the Direct Purchasing Manager when needed.
Identify and implement strategies for reducing expenditure.
Build strong relationships and assess potential new suppliers.
Adhere to sourcing policies, risk management, and procurement regulations.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
What You’ll Need:

A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
CIPS Level 5+ (preferred but not essential).
Experience & Knowledge:

Background in indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
Understanding of UK contract and Chancery related law and procurement regulations.
Experience in leading cross-functional cost-saving projects.
Key Skills:

Excellent communication & negotiation abilities.
Strong Excel & SAP proficiency.
Proactive and analytical mind set with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
