I am working with a well known civils firm specialising in water infrastructure projects, committed to delivering sustainable solutions that enhance communities. With a strong focus on innovation and environmental stewardship, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a background in the water sector to join our dynamic team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage quantity surveying functions for water-related projects from inception to completion.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports specific to water infrastructure projects.
Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments tailored to the water sector.
Oversee the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors.
Liaise effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance and success.
Monitor project progress, implementing cost control measures and reporting on financial performance.
Collaborate with and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.Requirements:

A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a strong focus on water infrastructure projects.
Comprehensive understanding of water sector contracts, regulations, and standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is preferred.What We Offer:
