Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (1:30 PM finish on Fridays!)

Are you a skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist looking for an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, world-leading company? Look no further! Our client, based in Rochdale, is on the hunt for a talented professional to support their central procurement function, manage supplier relationships, and help optimise their supply chain operations.

What You’ll Be Doing as a Procurement Specialist:

Sourcing and Managing Suppliers: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring resilience and value in the supply chain.
Strategic Procurement: Drive category management strategies to optimize procurement across various product and service categories.
Negotiation and Cost Management: Oversee purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring alignment with project timelines, inventory needs, and budgets.
Process Improvement: Develop procurement best practices to enhance efficiency, transparency, and compliance.
Supplier Risk Management: Conduct supplier risk assessments and ensure all relevant regulations are met.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to improve procurement systems and strategies.
What You Need to Succeed:

Procurement Experience: Knowledge or experience using MRP systems (Epicor is a plus!).
Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams.
Commercial Awareness: A sharp eye for cost-efficiency and high-quality standards.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Time Management: Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Customer-Focused: Commitment to delivering excellent service and building strong relationships.
