Location: Home based (with some NE travel when required to client locations)
Candidates must be Northeast / Northumberland based - Driving license essential
Hours: Part time (FTE 2 days/ 15 hours per week) the opportunity may arise to increase as the business expands.
Salary: Range £34- £37k (pro rata) depending upon experience.

My client provides HR Support to businesses who don’t have internal provision as expert outsourced partner. They provide a wide range of HR services which includes:

Founded in 2019 the business has built a solid foundation of SME clients across Northumberland, Northeast England and supports wider UK footprint. Its client base stretches across manufacturing, retail, housing, and engineering currently with the HQ based in North Northumberland. Due to growth and on-boarding of new retained clients planned in 2025, the need has arisen to appoint an experienced part time HR Advisor to join the Team.
Responsibilities will include:
* Responsibility for managing relationships with clients, building trust and confidence through constant added value service delivery which ensures long term mutual success.
* Providing commercially viable, legislatively compliant advice and guidance to clients in a timely and ‘client experience’ led manner.
* Ensuring all client HR documentation is up to date with employment legislation and best practice.
* Working proactively with clients to help resolve all employee relations and performance issues in line with the client’s management style, procedures, and current employment law.
* Attendance at hearings, performance reviews and employee relations type meetings, if required by the client.
* Overseeing, or producing, HR investigation reports; preparing disciplinary and grievance paperwork including meeting invite letters, notes, outcome letters and appeal documentation.
* Managing general inbox and responding to client matters, liaising with the team when appropriate.
* To embrace and promote the on-line learning platform which has the opportunity to enhance each client’s experience.
* Completing general administration tasks as required within the Team.
* Attend industry events and networking to promote the business and services offered to encourage pro-active conversations with potential new clients to take place.
Required Skills & Experience include:
* Have at least two to three years’ previous experience in an HR Advisory role.
* CIPD qualified (level 5) or equivalent work-based experience essential.
* Be able to work autonomously and proactively without supervision (once fully inducted).
* Possess excellent client facing skills, presenting a professional and reliable service at all times.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders / clients successfully, prioritising needs and workloads accordingly.
* Deliver regular service reviews always ensuring client satisfaction and being pro-active in terms of future needs to align to business goals and objectives.
* Be highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities at a time.
* To be able to demonstrate success in a high performing team.
* Ability to work within agreed SLA’s and KPI’s to meet contractual commitments.
* Have a thorough understanding of employment law relating to contract terms and conditions, maternity/paternity, disciplinary and grievance processes etc.
* Possess a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures and be able to write and adapt them to suit the clients’ needs.
* Consistently display a ‘can-do’ attitude and mentality and be adept at juggling multiple requirements simultaneously.
* Understand the importance of confidentiality at all times.
