TeacherActive is working with a vibrant secondary school in the beautiful Torbay area. The school boasts an ambitious and inclusive curriculum, teaching responsibility and leadership skills for their pupils.

The Senior Leadership Team is looking for a dynamic History Teacher to join on a long term, full time basis. The role is to start immediately on a full time basis. The successful History Teacher will be working across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. You will be nurturing the inquisitive minds of your pupils, providing them with the positive foundations in analytical skills.

The successful History Teacher will need to have:

QTS with History specialism (Early Career Teachers / ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
Experience teaching Humanities up to Key Stage 4 / KS4 (Key Stage 5 / KS5 advantageous)
The ability to teach across the wider Humanities curriculum
Clear rules and routines for behaviour in classrooms
A passion and drive to coach the pupils you work with
