My client on the outskirts of Truro is seeking a skilled and motivated Food & Beverage Manager to lead their food and beverage operations.
This is a full-time permanent position offering an annual salary up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience, plus annual bonus, gratuities and company benefits.

These responsibilities outline the core duties expected in this position, emphasising the importance of effective leadership, team development, and operational excellence in the food and beverage department of a hotel.
•Overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage department alongside senior management to drive service standards.
•Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction.
•Leading and motivating the team to provide excellent service and fostering a positive culture among guests.
•Demonstrating strong management and leadership skills, including training and supporting team members.
•Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in dining areas.
•Monitoring inventory levels, managing costs, and optimising profitability.

Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
- Strong leadership abilities to inspire and support team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with food and beverage operations, including ordering, inventory control, and menu development.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends when necessary.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
