Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives? On of our partner schools in the Borough of Southwark are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team!

The Role:

You will be working with students from EY through to Y6, as and when needed, helping with their Maths and English. Additionally, you will be required to do 30 minutes lunchtime supervision daily.

8:30am - 4:00pm
Monday - Friday
£86 - £105 daily - depending on experienceKey Responsibilities:

Individualised Support: Provide targeted intervention to students needing additional help in reading, writing, math, and other core subjects.
Collaborative Planning: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
Progress Monitoring: Track student progress and adapt interventions as necessary to ensure each student's growth and success.
Classroom Assistance: Assist with classroom management and support the general learning environment as needed.
Resource Development: Create and utilise effective teaching materials and strategies to engage and inspire students.Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in intervention or special education roles, is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing needs.
