Job Description:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Widnes. This full-time role involves working closely with a child who has additional needs, providing essential support to enhance their educational experience.

Responsibilities:

Offer one-on-one support to a child with additional needs within a mainstream classroom setting.
Assist in the implementation of individualised learning plans.
Support the child in developing social and academic skills.
Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure the child's needs are met.
Monitor and report on the child's progress to parents and school staff.Qualifications:

Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
Previous experience working with children with additional needs is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.Application Process:
