Our client, a prominent player in the water sector, is seeking a talented MEICA Project Engineer with a mechanical background to join their team in the North West. Key Responsibilities:
Managing the mechanical aspects of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) projects
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
Conducting site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
Identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues within the project's mechanical components
Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including project plans, specifications, and reports
Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure project success
Job Requirements:
Experience in mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering within the water sector
Strong understanding of MEICA systems, particularly focusing on mechanical aspects
Proficiency in project management and ability to lead team efforts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
