Finance Manager
Spalding
Full Time, Permanent
Up to £55,000 P.A + 10% Bonus
We are now looking for the next talented individual to lead an established finance team for one of our leading clients in Spalding.
The successful candidate will have senior accounts experience and will be responsible for managing a small finance team of 3 people whilst overseeing all aspects of financial accounts, financial control and internal / external reporting.
Duties for the Finance Manager
Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
Manage and maintain the finance system
Generate a balance sheet and cashflow forecast for the budget process
Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
Produce financial statements including cash flows, variance analysis etc
Review accounting processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations
VAT
Deal with supplier financial queries
Deal with R&D claimes and government returns
Manage and monitor KPI's and report performance
Lead, coach and develop a small accounting teamWhat you'll need
Qualified or part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA. Qualified by experience also considered
Proven experience within a similar role
Strong Excel skills (V Lookups, Pivot Tables etc)
Commercially aware
Ability to communicate with people at all levels, both financial and non-financial
Highly competent, with solid commercial acumen
Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience of managing and motivating a small teamBenefits for the Finance Manager
Salary £50,000 - £55,000 P.A
Pension scheme 12% combined
10% Bonus scheme
Monday - Friday core hours (site based)
25 days + 8 bank holidays
