Job Title: Maintenance Support 

Job Type: Maintenance

Location: Norwich, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

Start Date: Asap

Salary:  £14.50 per hour (PAYE) - Temp - Perm 

Working Hours: 5 Days over a 7 Day period - may include on call (out of hours) 

About the Role

● Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance, implementation, and delivery.

● Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards.

● Maintenance and completion of accurate records.

● Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise.

● Ensure that the clients rights are protected.

● Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.

● Coordinate and liaise with external agencies to ensure that the clients buildings and vehicles are compliant with the relevant governing bodies/legislation.

About the Candidate:

● RQF Diploma/ HNC/ City and Guilds in Maintenance or Building Services all desireable but not essential. 

● Plumbing, joinery and plastering skills. 

● Painting and decorating skills. 

● Health and safety knowledge pertaining to building maintenance. 

● Must ensure accurate, legible maintenance schedules are completed and maintained. 

● Assist in the formulation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.

● Good written and verbal English. 

● To be able to communicate with the Client and their visitors.

Specfic Requirements: 

● Experience working wth service users who have additional support needs 

● Previous experience working in a maintenance role 

● Previous employment in the building trade 

● Experience working in a similar trade
