Forklift Driver – Southampton ?
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for a temporary role in Southampton, with the potential to become an ongoing position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a busy warehouse environment where no two days are the same!
Job Details:
* Hours: Monday to Friday, starting between 06:00 and 08:00 and finishing between 16:00 and 18:00. Flexibility is critical as hours vary slightly.
* Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (PAYE).
* Location: Southampton.
* Type: Temporary, with the potential for a long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operating forklifts to move and organise stock.
* Assisting with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and loading.
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
* Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of forklift driving experience (valid FLT licence required).
* Experience in a warehouse environment.
* Own transport is essential due to the location and start times.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
* Good physical condition, as some manual handling may be required.
* Reliability and a strong work ethic.
