My client in Brentwood is looking for a Manual Machinist due to expansion

Joining Bonus - £1000.00 after 6 months continuous employment followed by a further £1000.00 after 12 months continuous employment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders

* Tool building and assembly

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Produce high-quality components to tight tolerances

* Perform routine maintenance on machines

* Assist in the development and improvement of manufacturing processes

Skills and Experience:

* Proven experience as a manual machinist

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Strong attention to detail and precision

* Experience with various materials, primarily metals

* Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures

Hours:

* Monday to Friday, 4 day working week rota 7:00AM - 5:15 PM (30-minute lunch break)

* Alternative shifts can be agreed at interview
