Working Hours: 4 days a week Mon - Thurs, 9.5 hours per day. Hybrid working pattern.
Permanent roles available: at various levels Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer and Principal Mechanical Engineer.
We are working with client at the top of their game, seeking a Mechanical Engineers at all levels (Engineer through to Principal Engineer) to join their team which is significantly growing due to large projects won in the Nuclear industry.
This positions would ideal for mechanical engineers who enjoys taking on responsibility in a collaborative environment. It will suit a professional with strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring that engineering solutions are both innovative and compliant with relevant standards. A person with experience in mechanical system design using Inventor, working to tight deadlines, and managing technical risks would thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop design concepts using Inventor, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.
Ensure designs conform to British and European Nuclear standards and meet client requirements.
Principal Engineers will lead a small team of design engineers or work independently, as required.
Produce design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
Manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.
In return you'll receive a base salary of between £38k - £65k depending upon experience. Nuclear or Defence background essential.
