The Role

We are looking for a Personal Care Assistant to help support pupils within a SEND environment. Working as part of an established team, the desired Personal Care Assistant will be supporting children 1-1 or in small groups. This role will be Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15.30.

The School

This SEND School in Mansfield provides an ambitious and supportive curriculum for young people from EYFS to Post 16. The school supports children and young people with a multitude of needs such as PMLD, PEG Feeding,  ASC, SLD and visual/hearing impairments and provides specialist care throughout the day. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum through first-class facilities and recourses aimed at ensuring all students have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and progress against the outcomes in their Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

Requirements

- Experience working with SEND children

- Have a caring and positive nature

- Be able to build positive relationships with children and young people

- Understand the crucial importance of keeping young people and children safe.

- Be willing to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service .

- Driving License

Salary

£12.86-£13 per hour

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
