About the Role: A primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time teacher to support children who are hearing impaired. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled educator to make a significant impact on the lives of these students by providing tailored educational support and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences tailored to the needs of hearing-impaired children.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with hearing impairments.
Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Use specialised strategies and resources to support the communication and learning needs of hearing-impaired students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and relevant staff. Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children who have hearing impairments is highly desirable.
Knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
