The School and Role 

This is a specialised speech and language school based in Mansfield, this school provides tailored support for SEND children aged 3 - 19, helping them adapt and thrive in a nurturing environment.

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school based in Mansfield, you will support children with speech and language difficulties, heightened anxieties and varying levels of autism. In this role you will help create a calm and supportive environment that enables each child to thrive, both academically and personally. With the correct patience, understanding and commitment to work with the students, this role can be an amazing opportunity for somebody who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, supporting them throughout their educational journey.

Requirements 

The desired Candidate will have:  

Experience working with children with heightened anxieties and varying levels of autism.
Patience and empathy in dealing with diverse learning and behavioural challenges.
Relevant qualifications and experience within education or related fields of work.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
