Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH)? We are currently seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join our supportive team at a special educational needs school in Coventry.

This is a full-time role due to begin October 2024 and will continue on a long term basis.

As a teaching assistant at our school, you will play a crucial role in providing 1:1 support to students with SEMH, enabling them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and documenting student progress, offering valuable feedback to school staff and parents as needed.

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of working with children with SEMH and possess relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be required to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum)
