Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing care and assistance to individuals in need, particularly those requiring additional support. This position involves working closely with residents to ensure their well-being, promote independence, and assist with daily living activities.

Duties

Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support serving the residents nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences prepared by our Kitchen team on site.
Assist in the development and implementation of care plans that meet the specific needs of each resident.
Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration (Training provided)
Conduct regular assessments of residents physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to management.
Engage with residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations. .
Provide first aid when necessary and respond effectively to emergencies (training provided)Qualifications

Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of dementia, mental health, substance care practices is advantageous.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with Residents and their families or support workers
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Basic understanding of case management principles is beneficial.
Certification in first aid is desirable but can be obtained post-employment.This role requires a genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those you support.
