Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for several General Transport Drivers to join a NHS Trust based in Smethwick, Birmingham on an initial 3 month temporary contract.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday, however occasional evening and weekend shifts are available.

The Role:

* The post holder will be working on a rotational basis to ensure all routes are covered as a service continuity is imperative to the Trust. After training, Drivers need to be confident on all routes and be able to interchange at short notice.

* Drivers handle complex items such as Medication, Controlled Medication, Medical Records, Samples, Forensic Samples, Blood, Internal Post and any other items needed to be Transported on an adhoc basis.

Requirements:

* Experience of working in a driving position

* Enhanced DBS

* Excellent communication skills

* Friendly personality
