Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support their well established business. This role will be 4 days per week and will be working closely with the Director. We are seeking a bubbly and detail conscious person who can manage the day to day accounts.
Job Description for the Accounts Assistant role:
To manage accounts payable and receivable
To process invoices, payments, and expenses
Reconciliation of the bank statements
To maintain accurate financial records
Liaison with clients and vendors regarding financial transactions
To monitor and manage credit control including chasing overdue payments For the Accounts Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with the following experience:
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role – ideally within a small business
Proficiency in sage 50 accounting software (preferred)
Confident in MS Excel
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Someone who is a self starter who can work using their initiative This role is commutable from: Congleton, Holmes Chapel, Biddulph, Leek, Scholar Greem, Mow Cop, Sandbach, Alsager, Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme.
The role would suit candidates with the following experience: Finance Assistant, Accounts Clerk.
